Summary

SBN’s Biotech Expo & Conference is the largest of its kind in Western Canada.  It provides students with the opportunity to learn about different career paths that they may take within the life sciences sector as well as connect with industry professional in a one-of-a-kind Networking Reception. 

SBN has partnered with Technology Vision Group to provide a unique opportunity to students.  The first 200 students who purchase a ticket to SBN’s Biotech Expo & Conference will gain access to BioPartnering North America from 1:30-6:00pm on Tuesday February 28th.  Learn firsthand about the industry and the type of partnering deals that are being made from one of the largest global life sciences partnering conferences.

Access to BioPartnering North America

Hosted by Technology Vision Group, BioPartnering North AmericaTM (BPN) is the largest biotechnology conference in Western Canada. Now in its 10th year, BPN attracts over 800 biotechnology professionals from more than 30 countries. BPN attracts primarily corporate executives and other decision-makers of leading biotechnology companies from across North America, including Merck, Pfizer, Novartis, AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, and many others. For the second consecutive year, SBN is partnering with BPN to bring you this unique opportunity. On Tuesday February 18th, from 1:30pm onwards, BPN will open its doors to attendees of the Student Biotechnology Network's Expo and Conference. Attendance at BPN affords students a unique opportunity to situate themselves within the biotech marketplace, learn about the experiences and career paths of successful biotech professionals, and become informed about new and emerging research directions and the kinds of opportunities available outside the Lower Mainland. The afternoon networking reception is also a great opportunity to network with senior decision makers from leading companies in the Lower Mainland as well as across Canada and the United States.
