To date, SBN has relied entirely on the kind support from corporate sponsors. However, with the economic downturn of the past couple years, biotechnology companies have had to readjust their finances or have disappeared altogether. This has made our fund raising efforts difficult and we have had to significantly reduce our operating budget year after year. For this reason, SBN is looking to alternative fund raising methods to maintain and improve the quality of our initiatives. We are reaching out to our mentors and the general life sciences community for a small contribution.
